History


1944 -		WLS founded in Cleveland, Ohio by Stan Wachnick, Morey Larson and Robert Stack

1948 -		Dan Cronin Sr. joins company as part of the management team and stock holder

1977 -		WLS establishes Carolina Stamping Company in Charlotte, NC

1984 -		WLS opens stamping facility in Tampa, Florida

1987 -		Dan Cronin Jr. assumes ownership

1996 -		New management team joins WLS

1997 -		Management team introduces lean manufacturing techniques, and adopts six sigma strategy

2001 -		WLS adds fabricating and assembly services in Cleveland, Ohio through acquisition

2002 -		August 2002 - HUB Zone Certified

2008 -		Special award from The Greater Cleveland Safety Council for operating without a lost-time accident from 12/2005 - 04/2008 and 696,920 work hours.
