Whether on the shop floor or in the office, every member of our team is a highly valued contributor at WLS Stamping. Because we’re a short-run stamping and fabricating business, we don’t hire for rigid, static positions. Instead, we hire smart people with a passion for growth, and we encourage every team member to carve out his or her own niche in our organization.
Today, WLS is led by a winning management team that has individually and collectively made great contributions to the manufacturing industry in various ways. They share an enthusiasm for seeing things grow-and not just for our metal stamping companies in Ohio and North Carolina, but for our industry as a whole and, of course, our customers’ businesses.
John Holzheimer, P.E. – President
John Holzheimer is President of WLS Stamping, where he leads the company’s transformation with a focus on operational performance, customer service, and long-term growth.
John has spent more than 30 years leading manufacturing and supply chain organizations, with a consistent track record of improving underperforming operations. His experience spans global sourcing, production, logistics, inventory management, and new product development—combining engineering depth with practical operational execution.
Prior to joining WLS, John served as Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain at Norma Group and Waxman Consumer Products. In these roles, he led complex global operations, improved service levels to above 99%, reduced costs, and strengthened supply chain resilience through disciplined planning and sourcing strategies.
Earlier in his career, John held senior leadership roles at Moen Incorporated and led research and development efforts in China, where he partnered with customers to bring products from concept to production while improving manufacturability and cost.
John is a registered Professional Engineer and holds 17 U.S. patents.
At WLS, his focus is straightforward: build a disciplined, high-performing organization that delivers reliable results for customers.
Scott Cronin, PhD – Chief Technology Officer
Scott leads the company’s modernization effort with a focus on systems, process improvement, and practical AI adoption. He brings more than a decade of experience building machine learning and AI systems across startups, enterprise environments, and applied research, along with earlier manufacturing experience at Intel and Caterpillar. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University and has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers.
At WLS, his focus is leveraging modern technology and systems to strengthen operations, unlock new capabilities, and help write the company’s next chapter.
Keith DeVaul – Corporate Director of Quality
Keith joined the team in 1998 to oversee and coordinate inspection activities and quality assurance (QA) deployment. We have Keith to thank for the implementation of ISO 9000 (a set of international quality standards) and his continuing dedication to always streamlining our processes. Keith came to us from Voss Industries, and before that, Osmonics, where he also oversaw QA. He has an Associate in Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from Onondaga Community College.
